Welcome to the Boat Club website. Here you can find out about who we are, what we do, what we have won and sign up on the Message Board to keep up to date with news about training, crew selection and social events. If you are new to rowing and interested in joining you should look at the ‘Join’ tag above. You may also wish to ‘Contact’ us (see above).
We are here to win and expect dedication from all our members. We have a highly qualified team of coaches and structured training plans on hand to help you acheive this, If you think you are prepared to work hard for your team, this is the club for you.

CUCBC Small Boats Regatta

WEHORR: Head-ing in the right direction
The college rowing winter season is a strange one. Faced with raw beginners in September, the coaches have to develop skill, technique, power and wisdom over a relatively short time, all the while having their training peppered with various races from 500m sprint regattas up to ‘Head’ races – timed point-to-point races ranging from 2000m to 4 ¼ miles. Lent Bumps Results (Updated)
Day one of Lent Bumps passed with mixed results. Our First Men suffered several injuries prior to Lent Bumps, but their bad luck continues on Tuesday when they caught a massive crab. Our First Women faced strong competition from Sidney Sussex while six novices faced their first bumps competition. Our expectations became true. Luckily, our Second Men were able to bump quickly.

Clare Novice Regatta
Spotlight on the ladies for this one. On 29/11/2008, NW1, entered into the Women’s Cup, contested for the title of the fastest Novice boat on the river. They made it easily through to the Semi Final, dominating Clare Hall A, LMBC A and Magdalene A. Fitzwilliam A went down in the Semi, while Christ’s beat Clare paving the way for an epic final.
